Jean-René Rinvil holds a Master of Fine Arts in Film, Video & New Media from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, from the University of South Florida. He has more than 11 years experince as a Director of Photography, Director and Editor. In 2006 he founded and created iVisiontv.net, iVision is a TV network that focuses on producing shows of people from the Caribbean and the Americas.
Jean-René has received numerous awards for his projects, he received an award from USF Film and Video Association for his work in the Tampa Bay Area in 2009. He also received the Spirit Award for his breast cancer documentary from the Reel Sister Film Festival at University of New York. He also received the Best Director for his Haiti documentary from the Gaffers International Film Festival in Sacramento, California.
